The Bronx, Terror, H2O andTrash Talk Sidewave for floodrelief

The Bronx, Terror, H2O and Trash Talk lead the hardcore contingent on this year’s Soundwave festival tour, and have teamed up for an unmissable Sidewave for flood relief in Brisbane.

The show was announced on this morning on the The Bronx’ website, with the band noting that “tickets are $40 and $38 goes to Queensland flood relief (not sure where the other $2 goes – perhaps some energy drinks for the acts before we hit the stage?)”

25th of this month at the step inn, tickets 40 dollars and 38 dollars from each ticket will go towards the floods, epic, especially at the step inn.

I'm sure brittles will help out if Snappy needs assistance.

Whereas each venue is probably doing one flood relief show, it's probably hard to expect the ticketing agency to work for free on all of them.

Its got nothing to do with ticketing. Venues take a $2-3 slice of each ticket bought to a show. So they can't donate the whole ticket price.

The $2 covers the credit card transaction fee's, booking fees cover any admin/marketing costs at Oztix and the rest goes in their pocket.

The venue won't be making anything out of this.

Absolutely gutted that Terror have pulled out. Does the email say why they have/if they're still playing at Soundwave?
Am seeing Gaslight on Saturday, but they were two of the biggest reasons I wanted to go to SW...
