DZ now DZ DEATHRAYS

Santigold used to be called Santogold, Pivot was forced to become PVT, Danimals are nowDjanimals and now Brisbane indie/thrash/punk two-piece DZ have also changed their name. The duo described by FL as “the perfect encapsulation of a hectic house party” will now be known as DZ DEATHRAYS (which they’d like you to spell in all caps).
Shane Parsons and his partner in crime Simon Ridley plan to launch an attack on the US and UK this year and have decided to make the name change to avoid being confused with American dubstep wobbler DJ DZ.

Friday 4th February – Karova Lounge, Ballarat
Saturday 5th February – I Oh You Warehouse Party, Melbourne
Friday 18th February – ‘Last Night’ @ Gaelic Theatre, Sydney
Saturday 26th – Sunday 27th March – The Hills Are Alive Festival, South Gippsland
