The frenetic tub-thumping, cheekbones to die for and spiky guitar stylings of the Mess Hall are set to trek into venues across the nation in support of their debut album Notes From The Ceiling.

The album – a loud, occasionally-folky but mosty balls-out rockin’ affair – has received great reviews across Australia, and marks a distinct progression from the band’s first release, the Feeling Sideways EP. Pills, the next single off the disc – and one of its more irresistible tunes – will hit the airwaves soon. And what better way to celebrate than with a bunch of high-energy gigs?

The tour kicks off mid-August, and will continue through October. Over the course of the tour, the band’ll hit all major cities, as well as a bunch of regional centres.

Dates are as follows:
August 18th: Bunbury, Prince Of Wales
August 19th: Margaret River, Settler’s Tavern
August 20th: Perth, Amplifier Bar
August 21st: Fremantle, Swan Basement
August 25th: Canberra, Green Room

More dates are to be announced.

Nobody has hearted this, be the first!
