Old Man River national gigs
Fri 28th Jan, 2011 in Local News
Old Man River and Passenger are touring across the country, titling their sprawling two month tour One For The Road. Out to play both new and old material, the pair appears to have an easy-going approach to the road as they have announced that in addition to stage shows, they are planning on slotting a series of street gigs into their travels.
Ohad Rein and his band Old Man River will be playing material from his latest album of 2010, Trust, as well as from their back catalogue in acoustic. As FL reviewer says that, “Old Man River’s music is like the sunshine; bright and blinding in its warmth and beauty. Get yourself to one of his shows immediately!”
Passenger, aka Mike Rosenberg, also creates bright story telling songs and is fresh from the release of his album, Flight Of The Crow. Their special guest set to accompany them across the national tour is Daniel Lee Kendall.
