MGMT headline JD Summer Set

Before taking up a seat on the Future Music tourbus and playing sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne this March, MGMT are kicking off their Australian visit with a Byron Bay sideshow for the JD Summer set.

Following last year’s inaugural event featuring Franz Ferdinand, the folk at Jack Daniels are bringing out the big guns once more, showcasing the headline Brooklyn duo as well as supporting act Pond, a group of psychedelic Perth-based rockers featuring members of Tame Impala.

On the back of their 2010 album Congratulations, MGMT are returning to the iconic beachside town for this intimate performance after their last Byron visit for Splendour in the Grass back in 2009.
