Grace Jones, Rodrigo yGabriela, Tony Joe White andmore add Bluesfest sideshows

Bob Dylan, Elvis Costello, Michael Franti, ZZ Top, Jethro Tull and Mavis Staples and the Blind Boys Of Alabama have all announced Bluesfest sideshows and now another batch of great acts joins in the sideshow action.

In addition to her festival appearances at the East and West Blues festivals, Grace Jones will also bring her ever dynamic Hurricane tour to Melbourne and Sydney two very special, ‘one night only’ shows in collaboration with Oscar-winning costume designer Eiko Isihoka.

On their fourth Australian tour, Mexico’s spectacular acoustic guitar duo, Rodrigo y Gabriela have also announced sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne and over the past month sideshows have also been announced for legendary acts including the Soul Queen of New Orleans Irma Thomas, The Swamp Fox Tony Joe White, Funky Meters and Toots & The Maytals; and blues favourites including Eric Bibb, Ruthie Foster, Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi Band Robert Randolph & The Family Band
