Play at Push Over Festival

If you want to be part of the 2011 Push Over Festival, here’s your chance!

triple j Unearthed and The Push are offering one lucky young band from Melbourne, of any style and sound, the awesome opportunity to not only attend the 2011 Push Over Festival, but also play!

The winning band will play alongside a killer line-up of Aussie talent including Break Even, Children Collide, Dream On Dreamer, House Vs Hurricane, Howl, Gold Fields, Illy, Oh Mercy, Stonefield, The Tongue and many more, plus the freshest young Victorian acts, some of the country’s most fast and furious hardcore and metal bands and a full arena of bouncing hip hop music and break dance!

To be in the running, bands need to upload their tracks onto the Unearthed website by February 20, or if they have tracks on the site already, are automatically eligible.

The winning band will also receive a $250 performance fee and a prime timeslot at the festival! For terms and conditions, head to the triple j Unearthed website.

Push Over returns to Melbourne’s Abbotsford Convent on Sunday 13 March. Push Over is a fully supervised all ages drug/alcohol /smoke-free event managed by non-profit youth music organisation The Push, open to 8-12 years (with an adult guardian) or over 12 years (without).
