Brisbane Soundwave sold out

It seems that Brisbane crowds are most dedicated to their heavy rock, becoming the second city to sell out tickets for Soundwave 2011. The news was released earlier today when festival promoter AJ Maddah twitteed, “Brisbane Soundwave is now sold out! Sydney next!”
The festival kicks off in Brisbane on Saturday 26th February, claiming to have a better-than-ever-before lineup that includes Iron Maiden, Queens of the Stone Age, One Day as a Lion and Slayer. On top of this, Sydney’s FL reviewer praised the one day festival last year for its, ‘vastly improved sound, minimal drink and food lines, intelligent stage placements and ‘the surprisingly friendly (dickhead-less) crowd’.

Saturday 26th February – RNA Showgrounds, Brisbane – SOLD OUT
Sunday 27th February – Eastern Creek Raceway, Sydney
Friday 4th March– Showgrounds, Melbourne – SOLD OUT
Saturday 5th March – Monython Park, Adelaide
Monday 7th March – TBC, Perth
