Field Day 2011 set times

Field Day is just a couple of weekends away, and now comes the time to plan your New Year’s Day adventures. As these stage timetables remind us, the line-up is more diverse than ever in 2011, with an even mix of live acts and DJs across the musical spectrum.

Centre Field is all about dance with Ast Vs Science, The Rapture, Klaxons and Justice; while The Island boasts sets from Tame Impala, Public Enemy, Sleigh Bells; and the Left Field, stage is nestled in a leafy corner of the site, provides an ecclectic soundtrack with the disco stylings of Tensnake and Aeroplane, beat-box supremo Beardyman and the pastel-loving pop of Mystery Jets.

blahhh clashy. Was hoping Justice and Public Enemy would run with a bit either side of each other.So keen for Sleigh bells and Chromeo.

There's a few clashes, but that's to be expected, since as it is there's acts on that I want to see for pretty much most of the day.

Can't wait for Tensnake and Trentemoller. Oh and Neon Indian and Aeroplane. I'll also probably see Duck Sauce, Klaxons, and then it's a toss up between Sleigh Bells and Erol, but I don't really care that much about either.

Only have vague memories of beardyman from overseas but i thought it was enjoyable for the bit i saw. Jamaica, i have no idea, i just picked them becuase i had a gap then because i loathe ducksauce and dont really care for marina and the diamonds

Beardyman was fun. My recollection may be affected by blood-alcohol content and the fact it was the first or second set we saw at Glasto. It's pretty impressive the way he records his beatboxing and vocals live then mixes them with other tracks...I wouldn't say it was amazing.

Yes, but Tone Loc is better than most things.

He had Funky Cold Medina and Wild Thing and managed to convince people that they weren't the same song.

I went to three of four Field Days when I was younger.

They were always awesome. Especially as the one year I missed as I was overseas was when it was 40+ degrees. My friends all melted.

I know it's been said but I'm finding these festival lineups so underwhelming at the moment. Wish we could cut a few festivals loose and compact them so we can get meatier lineups at fewer festivals instead of them spread so thin across them all. And I'm seriously getting sick of seeing the same names over and over.

Field day is good fun....it just gets a struggle if it gets really hot....thankfully the stage that Trentmoller was on was int he shade all day
