Third Sufjan show for Sydney

After a sell-out to the Sydney Festival in 2008, Sufjan Stevens has again sold out shows at the 2011 festival and with two dates at the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall filled, the festival has now confirmed an extra night of Sufjan for Sydney’s punters at the State Theatre on Saturday 29th January.

The highly anticipated tour will see the much loved indie star playing with a full band including woodwind, brass and a choir in support of his latest album The Age Of Adz his first song-based album since 2005’s acclaimed Illinois.

The onsale date is yet to be announced, but Sydney Festival is encouraging fans to sign up to the online waitlist to buy tickets as soon as the full details are confirmed
