Boogie 2011 lineup

Boogie returns to Bruzzy’s magical farm for three days and three magical nights chock full of musical goodness in April.

The top of the lineup for the fifth year of Boogie is shared by three time veteran of the festival, swamp legend and recent Kanye West sample provider Tony Joe White and Melbourne supergroup Boomgates (featuring members of ECSR, Dick Diver, Twerps, Trial Kennedy and Teen Archer), who continue the three year tradition of some kind of Eddy Current presence at the festival.

There’s more supergroup action with Immigrant Union – featuring Brent DeBoer of The Dandy Warhols, Bob Harrow of the Lazy Sons and Gamma Lubulwa from Galvatrons.- and Dan Kelly joined by his dream band featuring members of Augie March and the Ground Components.

Combine all of that with the evocative lyricism of Oh Mercy; psychedelic juggernaut The Laurels; pub rock veterans Smoke Machine; rock and rollers The Level Spirits; the psych-rock epics of Beaches; the camp theatrics of Barbariön; the duel drummer attack of garage soul rockers Money For Rope; the 11 piece alt country crew Chris Altmann & The Que Paso Revue; Matt Sonic & The High Times and Van Walker’s Cracked Country Lips and you’ve got yourself one hell of a festival.
