The folk who run the Good Vibrations festival have declared that there won’t be any festival sideshows in 2011, but Adelaide seems to be a special exception (which is probably fair as the festival lineup doesn’t travel to South Australia).

Adelaide’s punters have already been treated to the news of a Friendly Fires show and now they’re getting the only Australian headline show for France’s finest indie pop band, Phoenix.

That’s right, Phoenix – the band that skipped Adelaide during their sold out March tour and when they visited Australia in August 2009 – is finally going to play in Adelaide.

Phoenix’s only Australian headline show for 2011:

Monday 14th February – Adelaide Entertainment Centre Theatre
