Cat Power returns in January

When Cat Power visited Australia early this year she treated punters in Coolangatta, Adelaide, Towradgi, Newcastle and Brisbane to headline shows, while fans in Melbourne and Sydney were only offered mid-afternoon sets at Pyramid Rock and Days Like This festivals.

Now there’s some great news for Sydney fans, with Cat Power confirming a headline show at the Opera House Concert Hall on Sunday 30th January – her first in Sydney since March 2008.

Cat Power will be joined onstage by be members of her Dirty Delta Blues band, including drummer Jim White and guitarist Judah Bauer.

No other dates have been announced, but we hope to be able to report good news for fans in other states very soon.

Tickets for the Opera House show are on sale Friday 10 December
