Snowman release tracklistingfor Absence

Sorely missed Perth ex-pats, Snowman have revealed the name and tracklist of their next album, Absence.

2.Hyena
3.White Wall
4.Séance
5.∆
6.Memory Lost
7.A Vanishing Act
8.Absence

They’re being a tad secretive about the whole thing, but have noted that the album, produced by Aaron Cupples (Civil Civic) and written over two years in ten countries, “should be out and about early next year.”

On the website of their record label, dot dot dash, singer Joe McKee is quoted saying “It’s about tearing yourself away from the things you love in order to do just that…move on. It’s about not turning into this thing that you have created. Keeping that distance. Killing the myth.”

Let’s hope they’re not serious about keeping their distance, and we’ll have them home at least for a run of shows next year.
