Extra Tool tickets on sale

In addition to their BDO performances, the pioneers of alternative metal Tool will also be playing two huge sideshows in Melbourne and Brisbane in January.

Tickets for both these sideshows were quickly snapped up by fans when they went on sale earlier this month, but there’s some great news for the fans that missed out with additional tickets for the Brisbane show going on sale at 12pm today.

Tool drummer Danny Carey told FasterLouder that the show will “definitely be different lighting features, props and visual delights. Not a lot of new music but we’ll try to mix it up as much as we can, maybe pull out a few oldies that people may not have heard in quite a while. Maybe give a few hints of some things that we’ve been working on in between songs. Who knows. Maybe by then we may even have a couple of new songs to play. There definitely will be big visual surprises.”

The limited release of extra tickets for the Brisbane show will sell out – don’t say you haven’t been warned.

Additional tickets for the Brisbane show go on sale at 12pm today – Friday 19th November
