Take a trip with Hawkwind

In many respects Hawkwind is like Spinal Tap’s long-lost hippie cousin who blazed the trail of psychedelic rock in the 70’s and lived to tell the tale. Forming in the UK many moons ago, the band has carried on for four decades surviving line-up changes, producing 26 studio albums and traveling on the odd mystical journey through time and space.
Heading to Australia for the first time as part of the 2011 Golden Plains line-up, Hawkwind are set to bring their ground-breaking space-rock sound to two additional sideshows whilst they are here.
Go on a mystical journey through space and time with Hawkwind at the following gigs:
Friday March 11th – The Manning Bar, Sydney
Saturday March 12th – Billboard , Melbourne
