More bands for Happy Mondays
Thu 18th Nov, 2010 in Local News
Curtin House has announced the January line-up for its series of Happy Mondays gigs, taking place each week on the venue’s rooftop this summer.
This January you will be able to spend Mondays getting hazy to the sounds of Texan one-man band Neon Indian supported by tribal-poppettes Kyu; getting lost in the sweet tunes Sally Seltman and NZ singer songrwtier Lawrence Arabia; getting dreamy with The Middle East and Mountain Man and getting nostalgic at a very special closing performance by Robert Forster.
There will one more announcement mid-December of the headline band for a Mistletone presented evening – Mysterytone. This mysterious band will be supported by Melbourne’s Zsa Zsa, a mix of downbeat melodic drone with duel female vocals.
