Bring Me The Horizon Sidewave

British metalcore kids Bring Me The Horizon will head up a brutal triple Sidewave in Melbourne next March.

Returning to our shores for Soundwave 2011, the band has just released their third album There Is a Hell, Believe Me I’ve Seen It. There Is a Heaven, Let’s Keep It a Secret. The tongue-twistingly titled new record sees the band experiment with a new sound and according to its FL reviewer shows the band “has moved the genre forward with new ideas.”

Joining them on the bill is local lads The Amity Affliction and fellow brits hardcore outfit Asking Alexandria, ansureing one hell of a brutal shows.

You'd think by putting on the extra sideshows in places where Soundwave hasn't sold out would be a smart thing to do, to grab the fans who won't go to the shitbowl that is Soundwave but really like the bands on the bill.

Becasue I know a lot of people who love the line up but hate the festival enough to not go.

And then all the diehard fans will see most bands twice anyway.

@berlinchair101 of course they'll put sidewaves where soundwave has sold out.. it means more people would be interested! plus, why would they give gigs to people who hate the festival? would you try to please people that hate you?

It means you'd be getting money from people who you weren't before. It makes perfect sense.

As opposed to trying to get money out of people you have already taking $150 from.
