DOOM's first ever Australiantour

Buckle up, hip hop fans – masked genius DOOM is coming down under in March 2011. The news comes from the Lex Records website, which drops the casual revelation that, “Following packed shows in Europe and beyond, DOOM is travelling to the other side of the planet in Spring 2011 for his debut tour of Australia and New Zealand.”

DOOM certainly has a wealth of music to draw from in a live show. From his solo albums to the much-vaunted collaborations with Danger Mouse as Danger Doom and Madlib as Madvillain, the man is undoubtedly one of the most prodigious talents in hip hop. This tour will be wish fulfilment for many of the heads out there, so we’ll give you a moment to compose yourself…

DOOM tour dates:

Wednesday 23rd March – Metro, Sydney
Thursday 24th March – The Espy, Melbourne
Friday 25th March – Metro City, Perth
Saturday 26th March – The Governor Hindmarsh Hotel, Adelaide

adelaide and not brisbane. what the fuck man? anyway how can we even be sure it's him touring? he's been caught out too many times before for me to have confidence in buying a ticket to the melbourne or sydney show.

Oh man this sounds amazing, at a show in europe or the uk i dunno? some white guy came out with a DOOM mask and started rapping but he sounded like DOOM. DOOM was apparently on the side of stage rapping into a mic, that white guy left and then DOOM came out 10 mins later playing all the classics for like 40-45 minutes. As long as you'll probably get. Sounds ridiculous.

DOOM's production even puts kanye to shame. granted DOOM often has some one else producing his beats, operation doomsday was produced entirely by DOOM and shits on anything gay-fish could do.
