Local Natives sideshows

The Los Angeles based five piece one of the many attractions on the St Jeromes Laneway Festival lineup and now fans in Melbourne and Sydney can catch indie rock sensation Local Natives at two headline shows as well.
Speaking to FasterLouder about the festival, their standout sets at SXSW and their debut album Gorilla Manor the band’s lead singer Taylor Rice told FasterLouder that he’s excited to play Australia for the first time and that the group’s “live show tends to be a bit more energetic; a bit more raw than the album is. And so I think that this is our first stab at an album and we’re still kind of learning there. Whereas, I think we feel a bit more comfortable in the live setting; it’s something we’ve been doing for a long time.”
Local Natives will be joined by local faves Leader Cheetah and The Paper Scissors.
Local Natives sideshows:
Tuesday 8th February – Corner Hotel, Melbourne (18+)
Thursday 10th February – Metro Theate, Sydney (18+)
Tickets on sale Friday 26th November
