Joe Cocker’s days on thegreen

Slide guitar master George Thorogood and his band the Destroyers, will join Cocker for full tour, with the Day On The Green concerts also set to feature Diesel and ARIA Hall of Fame inductees The Dingos on the lineup of gritty R&B, blues and soul.

Please be advised the Townsville concert scheduled for tomorrow night by Joe Cocker, with George Thorogood & The Destroyers, has been postponed due to Cyclone Yasi.

The Cairns show tonight (and the Brisbane show this Friday) will go ahead as scheduled.

My parents are going to this next weekend in Bowral. Not a huge Cocker fan, but the man has a ridiculously powerful voice.
