Foreshore Summer Music Festival sold out a month prior to the event for the first time a couple of weeks ago. But we’ve managed to get our hands on a double-pass from our mates at Kicks Entertainment to give away to a lucky FL member.

All you need to do is hit the forum below and tell us your dream money-is-no-barrier after-party for Foreshore for your chance to win. Hanging with The Temper Trap? Late night escapades with the Art vs Science boys? We want to hear it!

throw a party with all the artists, having them play also-especially tiesto considering the hour it would be! in the most pimped out massive penthouse we could find and hire a jumping castle, bowling alley and laser tag!!! turn the room into an adult playground and go nuts!

after the many hours spent in the sun with awesome bands, the perfect after-party would be at a pool-house with sauna/massage tables not far from parklife venue, chillaxing with copious amounts of beverages and tunes. all the bands and muso's from the day would be there but not playing, just partying the night through with a bunch of mates.. finishing off with a champagne and fruit buffet breakfast :)

take the party into the city set up in like glebe park and crank it on till the sun comes up in the morning.

have a massive after party that spreads across bunda street, hiring out one of the canberra centres massive car parks. the street and parks would be blocked off. from bunda street up at academy down to glebe park to commonwealth park down to the lake. on each floor of the car park there would be different djs playing, they can be local, the ones who played at foreshore (if they want) or intrastate or international. on the street there will be stands of food, unlimited supplies of alcohol and costumes (all for free, since we have unlimited amounts of money), so people can dress up. there will be comps for best dressed, if you dress in a costume. in glebe park there will be some fire trucks or pretend ones, gushing out water so its like a big water fight, with of course a great dj playing, but not where he/she/they would get wet. in the car parks will be different djs and different lights. there will be couches, seats, carpet and bars, with free alcohol or beverages. on the roof will be either woman wrestling in jelly for the boys or hot men for the girls haha. there will be the party bus taking people to the lake, where the atmosphere will be chilled out, and the music more chilled kinda like a beach party, and on the lake there will be lots of boats that people can get on and chill with friends or crank the music and dance or they can swim in the lake if there game enough. people can also choose to walk from glebe park or the main party area to commonwealth park where there will be rides people can go on. at the end everyone should collect there free "after party show bag" with cds from djs, and upcoming artists, there will be candy and free passes to the next big concert, there will be vip cards to certain clubs and free entry to some places.

thats if we have unlimited money that would be hectik! imagine people imagine. haha

dream after party would be in the telstra tower building restaurant "alto"! the reason this would be so great would be from the 360 degree glass walls that revolve!dj set up in the middle, going all night and heaps of strobes happening, so not only is the after party looking down on the whole of canberra, everyone in canberra will be seeing the strobes and wishing they could join the party!the party won't stop till the sun comes up and you will be able to tell because of the view.

create a beautiful, clean, white sandy beach in canberra, the government would lift the no fire ban for one night, and everyone could chill after foreshore with vodka and melted marshmallows, whilst listening to awesome music. :)

a giant dragon boat race through lake burley griffin rowing to the beat of music from the festival. there will be sky fire-esque displays like floating candles, synchronised jet skis and some mimes floating on little rafts. there will also be hot air balloons and synchronised jet displays (not at the same time though). and after the air shows the planes will drop large cartons of moet with little parachutes down to the crowd. and the moet will be wrapped in bubble wrap and everyone will pop the bubble wrap whilst watching fireworks listening to music and drinking moet on the lake.

ultimate foreshore after-party.....it's all about the atmosphere! i would say transform the parliment house lawns into a magical scene with coloured light shows, smoke machines, and uv visual artworks, vjs, decor and ice sculptures everywhere! there would be five seperate areas for different kinds of moods. in all of the seperate areas there would, lounges, couches and beds for those who prefer to sit back and enjoy their surrounds! there would also be lots of food and drink stands and a large glowing water fountain for unlimited free water! there would be an upbeat, fun, nightclub area which would have coloured lights and a massive disco ball set up and a bubble machine. there would be a huge dj set rotating between cut copy, calvin harris, major lazer and art vs. science! the next area would be a bit more full on.. taking on a rave-like atmosphere... which would include lots of laser lights and strobes and would have a dj set rotating between tiesto, luciano, afrojack and benny benassi. the third area would maintain an alternative funky sort of atmosphere... where the dj set would rotate between yolanda be cool , stafford brothers, tim and jean and koolism. the fourth area would be a more chilled out area, and would encorporate a huge swimming pool and translucent lighting. the dj set would rotate between miami horror, the temper trap, karton and jared de veer! finally the last area would be a lifestyle stage, which would represent music globally, where all local djs and bands can showcase their talent! this after party would be epic and would go through the night and continue into sunday night, so we can enjoy the sun up and down over the lake. it would represent awesome music, dance and artistic expression!!!

so i know i should probably say that i want to do something in canberra, but if i had unlimited money i'd really want to make use of it! i'd get a party plane to take myself and a whole lot of my favourite people and anyone else who wants to come along to cancun, mexico, where we would relax on cabanas on the beach and dance in the sand while tiesto and temper trap play encore sets. of course there would be plenty of the local beverages (beer and tequila!) and foods (tacos anyone?) to go around and when it all gets a bit too steamy we can just go for dip in the caribbean. lovely.

dream after party // drinks and mingle-around time with the line up (particularly my boys, the temper trap). then when everyone's drunk enough, karaoke time! and a photo booth! and a jumping castle! and those big plastic zorb balls on the parliament lawn! and a dance fest, covering old skool hits and the latest till the sun comes up and then the typical canberra experience (plus the hangover), visiting all the landmarks you usually do on a year 6 trip, ending with a bang at questacon *thumbs up*.

r kelly once famously said 'and after the show there's the afterparty, and after the party it's the hotel lobby, round about 4 we've got to clear the lobby, take it to the room and freak somebody'. thank you very much, mr kelly for giving us the guidelines to the essential afterparty. canberra definitely knows how to party, but our more conservative inhabitants need to be taught a thing or two. so what better place to stay true to the lyrics of the ignition remix then the hyatt. very much a symbol of canberra's snobby upper-crust (if we actually have an upper-crust), the hyatt really needs to let it's hair down-with a little help from some super cool party people, fresh from having the time of their lives at foreshore. picture it, the art vs science boys bouncing off the walls in the penthouse, the temper trap jamming under the stars on the sprawling lawns, cassian, cut copy and miami horror kicking it with an impromptu dance party in the ballroom and yolanda be cool chilling to the sounds of french horns in the tearoom. oh, and those koolism boys look like they definitely enjoy a round of croquet. a few television sets might get thrown out the windows and there may be an all out food fight in the buffet area. who cares? that's pure rock and roll. freaking optional.

the place of my dreams to put an after party on,a hop skip and a jump from foreshore- it's questacon! decks set up in the foyer, accoustics da bomb,all those ramps for a great view, or just dancing along. with the earthquake machine, the place will rock.but it's vips only, the doors will be locked! caged lighting and jacob's ladder provide the visual action, ship in bathtubs full of extra dry so benassi gets satisfaction. best party games ever, a chillout lounge at the side show.(if you're looking for a place to chat up tiesto.)a team of cocktail waiters... if you think hangovers are crap,remember the special guests are the temper trap! shoot some fireworks off the roof, make the place look arty.child's play and science= my unique, crazy after party!

drinking a fine collection of herbal tea/ beer with diplo (major laser) whilst conversing as to why he chose the diplodocus as his dinosaur of choice. i would sneak him into questacon and show him canberra's abundant collection of 'lasers' that are on offer, perhaps test out a few. we would then find willing members of the public (friends preferably) and dance in the style of 'pon de floor' (a less x rated version.) all other artists may join in, esp. jean gray and pharaoh monche. that's a party right there..

i reckon the dreamiest after party would happen in parliament house itself. you could do lines on the cabinet table, bust up an orgy of staffers, meet laurie oakes (he's mad about cut copy) and generally get some good value from the place for a change. luke steele could pour the drinks, usher people into the chambers for various foreshore acts and then attend some therapy in the great hall. oh and free rides home for everybody in commcars, talking smack with commcar drivers, buying munchies with commcar caltex cards and leaving a nice hue of stomach for future commcar passengers. bliss.

set sail in the party boat and cruise around lake burley griffen with the boys from the only whilst they unleash even more outrageously awesome tunes until the early hours of the morning. follow this with a trip up mount ainslie to watch the lights of canberra get taken over by the rising sun.

to see a rainbow every time i look in the sky, that we could use to call the one's we love in heaven...and a stairway next to it :)
