Wire, HEALTH and Holly Mirandashows

Seminal English new wave band Wire will be joined by LA based electronica four-piece HEALTH to deliver a memorable night or visceral, distorted noise at Beck’s Festival Bar in Sydney on Thursday 20th January. Both bands will also play their own headline shows in Melbourne, Hobart and Perth, with HEALTH adding a trip north to add gig in Brisbane to their tour.

In addition to touring Wire and HEALTH in January, Popfrenzy will also be bringing indie-pop songstress Holly Miranda back to Australia for shows in Sydney and Melbourne. Miranda was selected by Lou Reed and Laurie Anderson to play at the Vivid LIVE festival at Sydney Opera House in may and will return for her second Australian visit joined by a three-piece band to play songs from her debut album produced by TV On The Radio’s Dave Sitek.
