Ratatat Big Day Out sideshows

Electronic innovators and acclaimed hip-hop remixers, Ratatat will be returning to Australia for the Big Day Out tour in January and a stack of sideshows.

The band’s last tour was applauded on FasterLouder as “just about the coolest set ever [featuring] Chevy Chase on fire playing a trumpet, a greased up Arnold Schwarznegger exploding drug dealers and hundreds of bird’s heads revolving hypnotically” it’s clear that punters will be in for a treat at the sideshows next year.

Since that tour, the New York City duo has released a new record, LP4, which has been described as “a style-mashing feast for the ears [featuring] rock, dance, salsa, shoegaze and more”.
