The Books book another tour

After playing a small run of sold-out shows in early 2010, genre defying ‘collage music’ duo The Books return next year.
FasterLouder’s review of guitarist/singer Nick Zammuto and cellist Paul de Jong’s shows earlier in the year reported that “The band’s aural collages are accompanied by beautifully cut clips, projected onto a large screen placed between the two members. The audio-visual element of the band’s performances is not merely a back-drop, but rather stakes its own claim as an equal focus point, with Zammuto and de Jong’s soundscapes providing humble, magnificent support.”

Wednesday 16th February – Perth International Arts Festival
Friday 18th Februray – Seymour Centre, Sydney
Saturday 19th February – The Zoo, Brisbane
Sunday 20th February – Thornbury Theatre, Melbourne
Monday 21st February – Thornbury Theatre, Melbourne
