I think I'll go and see Sufjan, but aside from that there isn't that much that interets me this year.

Presumably I will regret not seeing some of the acts in the next year or two when I get into their music.

unsure how sydney festival works but is there a possibility that any of these acts will be announcing "sideshows"? am holding out for a matt and kim solo sideshow but not sure if the sydney festival does this kinda thing...?

LeninaCrowne

LeninaCrowne said on the 10th Nov, 2010

well matt and kim are playing with thedeathset at beck's festival bar, i was hoping they'd do another show without thedeathset/any other bands performing, ie are matt and kim likely to do a show at perhaps the enmore/forum etc in addition to their gig at the sydney festival's beck's festival bar?

Stefan Beck

Stefan Beck said on the 10th Nov, 2010

Pretty sure any show they play would have a support act.
You're not going to see Matt and Kim without someone else on the bill.

Just go see them at the Festival Bar.

MorningAfterboy

MorningAfterboy said on the 10th Nov, 2010

Why?
What's your beef with the Festival Bar?

And M & K played OAF when they were here last, no chance they'd play the Enmore.

Due to illness, Scribe will no longer be appearing at Beck’s Festival Bar tonight, Wednesday 19 January. Instead, Drapht is jumping on a plane and flying direct from Perth (with a three piece band), to take Scribe’s place alongside Ru C.L, Radical Son, Katalyst (DJ set) and Hau Latukefu.
