Jenny and Johnny Lanewaysideshows

Earlier this year Jenny Lewis, of Rilo Kiley and solo fame, teamed with Johnathan Rice to record the stunning debut album I’m Having Fun Now, which was praised by FasterLouder’s reviewer as “one of the strongest albums of the year, boasting songwriting full of memorable hooks and sweet bursts of familiarity”.

As Rice explains in an interview with FasterLouder “We just wanted to make something current. We didn’t want it to be retro exactly, but you’re always gonna have some link to the past when you get a guy and a girl singing and playing together.”

Touring Australia together for the first time as a duo as part of the Laneway festival tour, Jenny and Johnny will treat punters in in Sydney and Melbourne to intimate headline shows.
