Minute 36 land Karnivoolsupport
Tue 19th Oct, 2010 in Local News
Minute 36 will be hitting the road again and travelling north, this time in support of Karnivool on the WA leg of their Northern Lights tour. They’ll be hitting Broome, Port Headland, Dampier and Geraldton with Australia’s finest heavy rock act.
The trio from down south is about to add another 10,000km to their travel maps over the course of the week, but the big question is; will they survive the humidity playing vintage instruments in three-piece suits?
Minute 36’s latest release An Argument Between the Taste and the Feeling has been on high rotation on RTR and was nominated for 2 WAM song of the year awards. They plan to add more kms when they tour the east coast of Australia early next year.
Karnivool’s Northern Lights tour starts in Darwin and winds it way down the Pilbara and Kimberley coast. It will be the first time Karnivool have toured that part of Australia since mid 2007. It will also be our last chance see them before they fly off into the Northern hemisphere for the European leg of their New Day tour in Germany, The UK, Holland, Switzerland and France.
Karnivool tour dates are as follows
Friday 29th October – Roebuck Bay Hotel, Broome
Saturday 30th October – Pier Hotel, Port Hedland
Sunday 31st October – Dampier Mermaid Hotel, Dampier
Wednesday 3rd November – Wintersun Hotel, Geraldton
Tickets available from Heatseeker or the venue
