The Cruel Sea to play Cup Eve
Tue 19th Oct, 2010 in Local News
Rock stalwarts The Cruel Sea are getting together once again for a one off show at the Espy on Cup Eve.
Although the group’s existence has been somewhat sporadic for a number of years now, Tex Perkins and his band of merry men are set to light up the Espy on November 1st, the eve of the Melbourne Cup.
The gig, which will take place in the Gershwin Room, comes hot on the heels of Tex’s appearance at the JD Birthday set, where he joined fellow Aussie rockers You Am I on stage to perform a few tracks from Rolling Stones classic Exile On Main St.
Joining Tex and the boys at this one-off performance will be special guests Even, The Fearless Vampire Killers and The Frowning Clouds.
Melbourne Cup Eve at The Espy:
Monday November 1st – The Espy, St. Kilda, VIC
