Complementing a run of Summer festival dates, Canadian outfit Born Ruffians have announced a healthy smattering of sideshows to usher in 2011.

The three-piece, who have already secured a spot on the bill at the Peats Ridge, Pyramid Rock and Soundscape festivals, will now offer to audiences a chance to see them in a more intimate setting with a string of headline sideshows this coming January.

At these performances the group will be showcasing material from their recently released sophomore effort Say It, an album lavish with indie rock charm. Described by one FL reviewer as being “pure bottled fun,” the live renditions of these tracks will surely get your foot tapping.

Saturday 1st January – Northcote Social Club, Melbourne
Sunday 2nd January – Northcote Social Club, Melbourne
Monday 3rd January – Oxford Art Factory, Sydney
Wednesday 5th January – The Zoo, Brisbane
Thursday 6th January – Fowler’s Live, Adelaide
