The summer sideshows are officially in full swing with the announcement that Cali-pop four piece The Morning Benders will play two additional gigs whilst in town for a slew of New Year’s Eve festival appearances this December.
Upon the release of their debut album Talking Through Tin Cans, Chris Chu and co created the kind of blogosphere buzz that most bands dream of. It resulted in the record going to #8 on Billboard’s Heatseeker Charts and secured them tour supports for the likes of Death Cab For Cutie, Grizzly Bear and The Kooks.
Two years on and The Morning Benders have just released their highly anticipated sophomore effort Big Echo, an album described byits FasterLouder reviewer as “a meticulously produced set of hook-laden pop.”
The Morning Benders’ first ever Australia shows:
Tuesday January 4th – Oxford Art Factory, Sydney
Wednesday January 5th – The Corner, Melbourne
