So-hot-right-now Brooklyn duo Sleigh Bells are set to show off their unique brand of noise-pop at two sideshows whilst in town for New Year’s Eve.

The musical collaboration between singer Alexis Krauss and Derek E. Miller, producer and former member of hardcore group Poison The Well, has been pricking up ears since the release of the duo’s debut album Treats at the start of 2010.

The album, which was described by FasterLouder reviewer as “… like nothing you have ever heard before” is one of this year’s most dynamic releases combining the seemingly discordant sweet vocals of Krauss with the full throttle energy of Miller’s tunes.

Their live shows are gaining a reputation for being as unpredictable as their music and guaranteed to be some of this summer’s most talked about.
