Thu 30th Sep, 2010 in Local News
Brisbane’s 4C Arts Collective are hosting another Art Party, entitled ‘Shoot’. ‘Shoot’ has all the benefits of a warehouse art party coupled with a music gig, all raising money for a great cause.
4C Arts is a collective of artists and arts workers who come together to support local social initiatives. This time round the beneficiary is Six Degrees, an activist group who dedicate themselves to tackling climate change with immediate action . “Shoot” will couple art and sustainability and display works and performances on this theme by some of Brisbane’s best musicians, sculptors, installation artists, dancers and performers.
There will be live performances by Bonfire Nights, Felinedown and Frozen Face of Polar Bear.
The event will be held from 7pm on Saturday, October 2 in Brisbane’s newest and most exciting venue, The Alley (off Elizabeth St and down an alleyway). Doors are at 7pm and tickets are $15. Pre-purchase from Oztix for a free drink.
Proceeds go towards Six Degrees.
