Local bands to woo OneMovement delegates
Wed 29th Sep, 2010 in Local News
The One Movement conference is returning to Perth this weekend, but obviously not all of the awesome local bands can be on the bill, so in the spirit of DIY, Manifesto Promotions and Fremantle records will be holding two independent showcases at the splendid William Street Bird on the 8th and 9th of October. On both nights the bands will attempt to divert the delegates from the festival programmed events to check out some of the other talent this city has to offer.
On Friday night, Fremantle Records will be kicking off the showcases
with Sugarpuss, Mezzanine and a special guest headline act to tempt
the music industry and your good selves. This event will be free entry
for all and the bands kick off from 9pm.
On Saturday Manifesto Promotions will finish the debauchery with a
showcase featuring Minute 36, The Spitfires and Will Stoker & The
Embers. Tickets will be $10 on the door with free entry for all One
Movement delegates.
So come down and support your favourite local bands as they attempt
too woo the music industry, with your help they may very well do so!
