Kyü launch debut album

Hyped Sydney two-piece Kyü launch a self-titled debut album in October with shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
Freya Berkhout and Alyx Dennison began making music together in mid-2009 and have managed more than most in their first 12 months. They’ve shared a stage with some of the world’s more interesting pop experimenters (Yeasayer, Patrick Wolf, Why?, High Places, Xiu Xiu), as well as some of Australia’s finest at Homebake 2009.
The Sydney and Melbourne launches are supported by fellow art-pop ensemble Psuche, with the hometown show at Paddington Uniting Church also promising a choir of “very special guests”.
Kyü launch shows:
Sunday 9th October – SOUND SUMMIT, Newcastle
Friday 22nd October – Paddington Uniting Church, Sydney
Friday 29th October – Old Museum, Brisbane
Saturday 30th October – Workers Club, Melbourne
