Ska Weekender returns withArea 7 and more

After a sold out weekend of shows in June, Ska Weekender returns to Sydney featuring the best local Ska and Reggae bands, as well as a few interesting international surprises Balmain Brewing Co. are on deck to provide a few freebies to get you in the mood.
Saturday night sees an upgrade in venue, to the Annandale Hotel, headlined by The Real Deal (Canada), Dan Potthast (USA) and Area 7 with plenty more to keep the afternoon moving including The My Tys, Steel City Allstars, Loonee Tunes, Chris Duke & the Royals, Hightime, and The Alpacaccinos filling the first release lineup with another stage still to be announced.
Sunday 7th November there’s a return to the famed Ska Weekender Harbour cruise. With tickets selling out within a few weeks to the year’s earlier installment the ship has been upgraded to make sure it gives everyone a slightly better chance to see Area 7 perform their Bitter and Twisted album from start to finish, Los Capitanes do their version of Sublime’s self-titled record, and Backy Skank perform as ‘Complete Madness’.
