Metronomy, The Temper Trap andmore for Harbourlife
Mon 20th Sep, 2010 in Local News
It’s been an interesting couple of months filled with anticipation and raised eye-brows since promoters Fuzzy first announced that their renowned summer kick-off Harbourlife would see a change of pace this year, foregoing a big DJ line-up for indie crossover heartthrobs The Temper Trap and a cast of unnamed ‘friends’. Today’s brought the announcement of exactly who those pals are, making this year’s Harbourlife line-up more interesting than ever.
Alongside the platinum-coated headliners The Temper Trap, the 2010 Harbourlife festival will play host to British electro kids Metronomy, setting a ‘live’ precedent for the 2010 bash.
Not forgetting those DJ roots, Fuzzy have packed out the line-up with two rising DJ acts including sweaty mash-up stars Yacht Club DJs and Melbourne dwelling Cut Copy protégé Knightlife.
As well as the reworked musical policy for this year’s festival, 2010 will also see Harbourlife expand to the Gold Coast a week after the traditional Sydney date for some more fun in the summer sun.
One thing that’s likely to not change this year however is the bonkers demand for tickets to the festival – with previous year’s events selling out in mere minutes – so you’d best enter yourself into the 2010 ticket ballot which opens tomorrow (21.09.10) at Fuzzy.com.au so you don’t miss out on the Harbourlife experience this year.
Harbourlife 2010 lineup:
The Temper Trap
Metronomy
Yacht Club DJs
Canyons (GC only)
Knightlife
and more to be announced
Harbourlife will go down on the following dates:
SYDNEY – Saturday 20 November
GOLD COAST – Sunday 28 November
