Peabody east-coast tour
Mon 13th Sep, 2010 in Local News
Sydney’s Peabody will launch their new album Loose Manifesto across the east-coast next month. The band will play 11 shows all up, including in-stores at Sydney’s Red Eye Records on October 3 and at Melbourne’s Pure Pop on October 30. They’ll also visit Wollongong, Canberra, Newcastle, Maitland and Brisbane.
Loose Manifesto was recorded over four days in a small shack in Ball’s Head, Sydney, overlooking navy and fishing ships, and an old coal loading dock. It was recorded on the same eight-track tape machine that Nirvana recorded their debut album Bleach.
Over the next few weeks, tracks from Loose Manifesto will be streaming at the band’s website. Loose Manifesto is out October 1 on Peabrain Recordings via MGM Distribution.
