Another pair of bands forSoundwave

Yesterday FasterLouder reported that Florida based powerpop band We The Kings had been confirmed by Soundwave only 24 hours after metal-core masters Bullet For My Valentine let it slip at their Perth concert that they too would be back to play at Soundwave early next year.

With the Melbourne leg of the festival tour extremely close to selling out, Soundwave has confirmed another two acts to the ever growing lineup, with the confirmation that hardcore legends H20 and Bullet For My Valentine’s current touring buddies Bring Me The Horizon will also join the lineup.

When the Soundwave line-up was leaked 24 hours prior to the announcement date in August festival promoter AJ Maddah claimed that there would be eight more bands announced in October one of which “is the [festival’s] third headliner.”

With four extra acts already announced it seems that Maddah couldn’t wait until October and that we could find out who that third headliner is very soon. Bets remain firmly placed on Weezer making their triumphant return.

Dexter; Yes. H20 rule.
With H20, Terror, Trash Talk, The Bronx and BMTH the hardcore is looking good.

Weezer really don't fit.

Having said that, I did say that Placebo really didn't fit when they were rumoured last year.

Placebo were extremely good this year as well.

I have no idea who this third headliner is... Kings of Leon? Lulz

Edit: A band that released an album last week is on the bill. Me thinks it might be Papa Roach or Murderdolls.
