One Movement for Music Perth is just one month away, and the industry showcase program has been announced.
The OMFM Industry Showcase component is a chance for emerging bands to shine. Acts from all over the world plus a whole host of local bands will perform to the assembled heavyweights of the music industry.
This year, venues including parking areas behind the Amplifier and Dilettante Pour Homme et Femme, the nearby cafe Tiger Tiger, converted Wolf Lane Carpark and the Belgian Beer cafe. Live music stomping grounds, the Amplifier Bar and Capitol are new additions for 2010.
The Opening Night Showcase at the Amplifier will be exclusive to delegates of the conference on Wednesday 6th October and will showcase the array of aural variety that Perth continually produces including Drapht, The Voltaire Twins, The Joe Kings, The Chemist, Young Revelry and Split Seconds.

RTRfm Showcase (Perth Management companies and their bands)

JJJ Unearthed Showcase
Stonefield and eight other acts (One from each state and territory in Australia) These acts will not only perform at the exclusive JJJ showcase, but also under the big top at the festival.
OMFM Showcase
Ngaiire, MM9, Andy Bull, The Audreys, Jackson Firebird, Big Scary, Redcoats, Cameras, Metals, Jinja Safari, Eli Wolfe and Dead Letter Chorus.
Street Press Australia closing night showcase
British India and Redcoats with more bands to be announced soon.
