We The Kings and BFMV forSoundwave 2011

Florida based powerpop band We The Kings have been added to the already immense 2011 Soundwave Festival line-up.
The US four-piece, who released their sophomore album Smile Kid at the end of 2009, have spent the last year making quite a name for themselves touring Europe with You Me at Six and playing the Warped tour.
This announcement comes only 24 hours after metal-core masters Bullet For My Valentine let it slip at their Perth concert that they too would be back for Soundwave. The Welsh thrashers are currently down under playing a run of sold out shows across the country, and at the conclusion of their gig at Challenge stadium on Sunday they signed off: “See you at Soundwave Motherfuckers!”
When the Soundwave line-up was leaked 24 hours prior to the announcement date in August festival promoter AJ Maddah confirmed that there would be eight more bands announced in October one of which “is the [festival’s] third headliner.”
The rumours have been running hot as to who this ‘third headliner’ could be and despite the confirmation from BFMV, bets stay firmly placed on Weezer making their triumphant return to Australia as part of the 2011 Soundwave bill.
