With sets from Florence and The Machine, Mumford and Sons and a couple of spectacular new venues to boot, last year’s St Jerome’s Laneway Festival may well have been the best in the event’s seven year history.
It is with much excitement that we can confirm the dates and venues for the 2011 St Jerome’s Laneway Festival. After the success of last year’s new venues in Sydney and Melbourne, Jerome’s is thankfully returning to the Footscray Community Arts Centre and Sydney College of the Arts, whilst retaining the regular venues for all the other cities as well.
St Jeromes’s Laneway Festival 2011 dates and venues:
Monday 31st January 2011 – venue TBC, Auckland
Friday 4th February 2011 – Alexandria St off St Paul’s Terrace, Brisbane
Saturday 5th February 2011 – Footscray Community Arts Centre, Melbourne
Sunday 6th February 2011 – Sydney College of the Arts, Sydney
Friday 11th February 2011 – Fowler’s Live, North Terrace, Adelaide
Saturday 12th February 2011 – Cultural Centre, Northbridge, Perth

And for 2011 the Laneway team is promising a bunch of “fresh faces and some old favourites, future classics and classic classics”. We can’t wait.
