Muse has announced the support acts for the Australian concerts on the ‘Resistance’ tour in December.

The Mercury award nominated Scottish rock group Biffy Clyro will support Muse in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth, while the Brisbane crowd will be warmed up by hometown prog rockers Dead Letter Circus.

Biffy Clyro played in Australian in May, promoting the Only Revolutions record, and also opened shows for Muse during the North American leg of the tour earlier this year.

Muse tour:

Sunday 5th December – Brisbane Entertainment Centre
Monday 6th December – Brisbane Entertainment Centre
Thursday 9th December – Acer Arena, Sydney Sold out
Friday 10th December – Acer Arena, Sydney
Tuesday 14th December – Rod Laver Arena Sold out
Wednesday 15th December – Rod Laver Arena
Sunday 19th December – Bassendean Oval, Perth

i'm suprised at this. dlc suck live.
there is too many guitar tracks on the recording to replicate live with one guitarist. he hardly ever plays a chord!
and the singer can rarely reach the notes he sang originally on the recordings.

DLC recently hired a new guitarist for live shows. :)

I've seen DLC three times as a quartet and I can't say I agree with you. Kim's had his off nights, but overall they put on pretty exciting live shows - I like them a lot.
