Valentino and DJs join forcesat GoMA

Valentino, Retrospective: Past/Present/Future exhibition, the latest in a string of design orientated exhibitions is now on at GoMA. Featuring haute couture from 1959 up until the 2009-10 Autumn Winter collection, the exhibition showcases work from the house’s founder, Valention Garavani and current creative directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli.
In addition to the exhibition, GoMA will be open UP LATE every Friday night from 3 September – 12 November, where weekly performances from local, national and international DJs will take place in addition to talks by local designers, plus the Gallery’s Australian Cinémathèque will screen feature films and documentaries exploring fashion and its ongoing relationship to cinema. So gather some friends at the Gallery on Friday nights at the stylish lounge and bar situated right in the heart of the ‘Valentino Retrospective’ exhibition to hear performance from;
