Last in the country for Nick Cave’s All Tomorrow’s Parties festival, psychic hard rock ensemble Dead Meadow returns to Australian soil this October to play at the Melbourne International Arts Festival and a series of sideshows.
The band was one of the many highlights at ATP and has been at the forefront of new psych revival since 1998 with a total of five full lengths and one live record, produced by Brian Jonestown’s Anton Newcomb, under their belts.
Dead Meadow is working on a feature length live film and soundtrack Three Kings that will feature their current stage show along with “psychedelic dream scenarios”.
In addition to the Dead Meadow shows, the band’s main man Jason Simon will also perform two solo shows in Melbourne; playing at The Tote on Sunday 10th October and at Toff in Town on Monday 11th October.
