Each year 3000 punters make their way to Port Macquarie to lap up some musical goodness at Festival Of The Sun. Taking place from 10th-11th of December, the event boasts a pleasantly restricted crowd capacity, beachside location and a BYO booze policy.

Joining the beach bums for some musical action in the sun this December is a whole swag of local artist and one pretty spunky international star as well.

Sharon Jones and The Dap Kings will be bringing their cool all the way from New York to headline the 2010 Festival Of The Sun alongside festival favourite Xavier Rudd and a band that is guaranteed to put their bong in your eye, Regurgitator.

Festival Of The Sun sets up camp at Sundowner Breakwall Tourist Park on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th December. Tickets go on sale 1 September at theFOTS website.
