It’s time to slangin’ and bangin’ FLers, yes, the one and only Ice Cube is coming back to Australia, today announcing a whole swag of tour dates that will see the revered rapper and maker of MOR movies wind around the country for a run slamming shows this October.

The announcement backs up the news that ‘Cube would be one of the headliners at this year’s Fat As Butter festival in Newcastle, sharing stage with the likes of Wolf Mother and Tame Impala.

The national tour dates are in support of Ice Cube’s September 28th album, I Am The West, which as well as being ‘Cube’s 8th solo album, also finds the rapper working with old N.W.A. buddy Dr. Dre.

Saturday 23 October, Fat As Butter Festival – Newcastle
Wednesday 27 October, Palace Theatre – Melbourne
Thursday 28 October. HQ Complex – Adelaide
Friday 29 October, Metro City – Perth
Saturday 30 October, The Tivoli – Brisbane
