If ever there was a year to ensure you enter the Meredith Music Festival ticket ballot, then this is it.
Victoria’s most fabled festival is turning twenty this December and as always is promising a line-up that is “all killer, no filler, all quality, no follity.”
In the twenty years since Chris Nolan first decided to throw a party for 200 mates on his family’s farm, Meredith has grown into one of Australia’s most treasured musical events, whilst remaining fiercely independent. For so many music lovers Meredith is more than just a festival; children have been named after it, couples married at it and many a pair of underpants lost at it.
To celebrate reaching this milestone Aunty Meredith is holding an online exhibition which will look back at all the amazing moments of the festival’s history. Made available will be episodes of the Meredith documentary A Weekend In The Country, a pictorial history of Meredith, a seven-years-in-the-making compendium of the best ‘Tell Us Something We Don’t Knows’ and some amazing never before seen photos.
