High-profile local artists paytribute to Maurice Frawley

Some of the country’s finest will take to the Espy stage later this month to pay tribute to the life and songs of Maurice Frawley.
A former member of Paul Kelly and The Dots and man of many musical projects, Frawley died last year after a short battle with cancer.
Long Gone Whistle is an extensive collection of Frawley’s songs that have been covered by the likes of Kelly, his nephew Dan Kelly, former band mate Charlie Owen and Tim Rogers.
They will be joined at the fund-raising launch by local luminaries such as Clare Bowditch, Henry Wagons, Megan Washington and The Panics among many others, performing the covers they lent to the album.
There are still several artists to be announced but the already impressive line-up is listed below.
