Eighteenth act confirmed forSoundwave

Alaska metal group 36 Crazyfists has been officially announced as the eighteenth band on the Soundwave 2011 lineup.

The band joins Less than Jake, All That Remains and Alesana in a group of bands on the 2011 lineup that also played at the festival in 2009.

Brock Lindow, 36 Crazyfists’ vocalist and lyricist, describes the group’s new album Collisions and Castaways as “a heavy record with some big choruses and everything we’ve been about for a long time with a cool metal feel to it… a lot of people will think we’re just metalcore, but it’s so much more than that.”
